As I'm sure most of you already know, I am getting married on June 26th. I knew planning a wedding was going to be a time-consuming experience, but I had no idea how many little details would be involved. This is not always a great thing for my Type-A personality. Luckily my mom has been a HUGE help with everything. Being the dreamer that I am, I have been an avid reader of wedding blogs for several years. If I could have any job in the world I would be a wedding blogger. I also want to be a wedding planner, a dress designer, a florist, a photographer, or an invitation designer. :)
I have already gotten to live out one of my dreams. I spent a good part of Christmas break designing an invitation suite for. Since I had spent so much time drooling over invitation designs it was extremely difficult to decide what I would like my own invitations to look like. After several do-overs and a few lessons in Adobe Illustrator from my fabulously patient fiance, I came up with a design that I truly love. I cannot wait to get them printed in a couple of months. I also designed save the date postcards to match and I got them back from the printing center yesterday. Here is a little sneak peek:
Many of them will be going out in the mail today so I'm excited about that. I also designed my sister's invitations and save the dates (she is getting married on May 22nd!).
One step down... a million to go. But everyone says to cherish this time because it is going to fly, so cherish I will.
